1. During the laser treatment aftercare period, it is crucial to avoid direct sunlight, tanning beds, or self-tanners. Apply a Sun Protective Cream with an SPF of 50+ at least 15 minutes before sun exposure and reapply it every 15 minutes thereafter. Consider using protective cotton gloves while driving and wearing a hat to shield the facial areas undergoing treatment.
2. If scabs, crusting, or blisters occur, refrain from using make-up for 3-4 days.
3. To ensure proper healing, avoid touching, rubbing, peeling, or picking at the skin in the treatment area, as this could lead to hyper/hypopigmentation, scarring, or infection.
4. For skin care instructions, gently apply pure aloe vera gel or a soothing ointment to the treated area twice daily until it is healed and dry.
5. A cold pack may be applied to the treated area for the first 2-3 days to alleviate swelling or discomfort. While discomfort is usually minimal, pain medication can be taken if necessary.
6. For one week post-treatment, avoid hot baths, showers, hot tubs, and saunas. When showering, gently pat the skin dry instead of rubbing.
7. Refrain from strenuous exercise for 24-48 hours following the clinical treatment.
8. Avoid swimming in highly chlorinated water for 24 hours after a hair removal session.
